Beauty comes in many forms— and TU Beauty works to honor that statement.
Time and time again we are met with the same question. What makes someone or something beautiful? There’s often no clear answer. Society argues whether beauty is subjective or objective, but TU Beauty believes it’s more important one realizes that beauty is, above all else, personal.
That’s why TU Beauty provides a large range of programs. We want to provide a space for our community to explore and gain confidence through our services so that their confidence can shine.
Besides, what’s beauty without confidence?
We have two main focuses right now: education and self care, and from them, four programs our applicants can apply to: TU Books, TU Hair, TU Skin, and TU Makeup. Each of these programs includes a variety of products, from shampoo, styling cream, foundation, eye shadow, cleanser, sunscreen, and more in our self care department, and a plethora of books from fiction and nonfiction to test prep and language books in our education sector. Founded in 2025 by three sisters, TU Beauty is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing resources that will empower low-income communities around the metro Atlanta area to reach for the stars.
WHY?
Our inventory is a reflection of the massive over-production of goods that sit on store shelves and in backrooms that go unused, and our goal is simple. We want to get these resources to people that will use them. TU Beauty strives to instill confidence and improve the well-being of those in our community by providing access to educational material, and high quality hair care, skin care, and makeup. In the future, we want to expand the line of products we accept to include a wider variety of resources so that they better suit the needs of our community.
What started as an idea born from late-night conversations has transformed into a budding organization that prioritizes accessibility, community, and integrity, and will continue to do so for many years to come. Beauty comes in many forms— and TU Beauty works to honor that statement.
